Clicking on "Save" button does not show a windows dialog box to save it in a location on hard disk. It is random though. It works for certain statements and for others it does not. I opened the same through Mozilla Firefox and it worked fine. I am using Internet Explorer 8 on Vista 32 bit.

PDFs from some sites would open within IE7 and then there was no way to save the file. My work around. On the edit menu select preferences and deselect "display PDF in browser". For me this forced IE to open a new Adobe window with the full menus and ability to save.

However, downloading a PDF is still possible. By default, Google Chrome opens a PDF file in the browser window instead of saving it to the downloads folder.
